The “fetus” not “child” is not sentient, and does not think. Even then, it is unconscious. The woman is the one who is carrying the child, she is the one carrying the burden. After a rape, what is normally done is a check if the woman became pregnant, and the few cells are then removed. The joining of gametes is not a child, it grows into a fetus that then becomes a child when born.
