Great. Makes perfect sense. Just replace “abortion” — with “homosexuality”, “heresy”, “Black men in town after the sun goes down”, or any other prejudice and you have a license to kill.

I’ve heard plenty of rumors about antibiotics messing with birth control. I’ve been prescribed Augmentin, which has amoxicillin in it. I’ve been looking online and can’t really get a straight answer, in fact I’m getting “No, it’s not true.” and “Yes, you can get pregnant!” so I’m really confused. One site said if you take the antibiotic and birth control at the same time, that could cause a drug interaction. Does anyone know for sure or how likely it is to get pregnant while on the pill and taking antibiotics without using any other form of protection? Or the % of how many pregnancies have happened due to it.. etc… Any help is wanted! Thanks

I don’t know the exact percentage of you getting pregnant, but I’m going to guess its pretty high. Taking antibiotics, whilst on birth control pills stops the pills working, so it would be the same as having sex with no protection. If you are taking antibiotics, and are on any birth control pills, you should use a condom whilst taking the antibiotics, and for 7 days after wards, till the antibiotics are out of your system.

Sorry if it sounds very explicit but i just want to tell exactly what happened too make sure.

Me and my girlfriend were having sex obviously i was on top of her. I was using a condom at first but it busted so i continued without it ( I know it wasn’t a good decision) I kept going and then i felt like i was going to get the stuff out of me a little bit but i kept going still. At the last second i pulled it out and i noticed only a little bit came out. I was thinking maybe some of it had already came out inside of her since only a little came out. Do you think that’s what happened and if it was only half of it that went inside her what are the chances i will get her pregnant?. I wouldn’t mind her being pregnant i actually want a kid in a way.I just want to know the chances she will get pregnant so i can prepare if she says those most famous 2 words “I’m Pregnant!”

Alright, so first of all I’m not one of those stupid kids going “Oh my, what if I’m pregnant!” Because it’s not the case. If i am, i am. I’m just curious at the chances of me actually being pregnant.

So, i recently lost my virginity (we used a condom that time), and then we haven’t used a condom since. He pulls out, but, 2 nights ago i told him not too, but he pushed me off, apparently, he was 85% sure that nothing went in.. But then last night, he didn’t pull out because we discussed that what ever happens will happen. So what are the chances? It’s been around a week since I last got my period.

One thing to learn–pull out method is NOT a form of contraception. It’s very possible.

This is a serious question, so don’t answer with “if you’re sexually active then you could be pregnant” I’M AWARE.
I got my period around the 20th of Feb. It lasted 3-4 days. I had unprotected sex on the 1st, and then every day March 9th-14th. He never came inside me, so what are the chances I could still get pregnant? I would have ovulated somewhere between the 1st and 10th and if I counted correctly I should have started today but didn’t. I’m not trying to get pregnant but at the same time I would be extremely happy if I was.

I just want to know what the chances are. No rude/stupid answers please.

There could always be a chance. Pre-cum has very little to no sperm, best way to know is to take an at home pregnancy test.

I “slept” with a guy 3 months ago, but about 30 seconds into intercourse (with a condom) I realised that this wasn’t what I wanted, so I stopped the whole thing and left his house. I’ve had my 3 normal periods (with cramps and all) in these past 3 months, but recently have been seeing the TLC show, “I didn’t know I was pregnant”, and I’ve been constantly worrying now. Some of these women say they had their normal periods and didn’t know they were pregnant until they gave birth!
The reason I’m exceptionally worried is because I’m back with my ex-boyfriend now, it’s been a month, and I couldn’t bear to be in this sort of situation with it not being his child. I told him what happened with this other guy, that it lasted only about 30 seconds, and that he didn’t ejaculate inside me (because the boy went soft and complained that it was the condom – he hated using them) and that was when I got him to just pull out and end it.
I’ve recently started taking the pill – 6 days in – and lately I’ve started feeling kind of bloated/heavy in my lower stomach. I used to naturally suck in all the time, but now it seems to be a little more work than before.
Is this all in my head? Because from what I read the chances are exceptionally low, but I just can’t get this out of my head.
Oh, and I’m buying a pregnancy test tomorrow, but again, on these television shows they’re saying that these women tested multiple times, and all were negative!
